Melissa Park - Sports Management
Nathan Park is a talented, Championship winning Professional Golfer who combines passion and determination with the desire to become a world-class elite athlete.
Over the last 14 years, Nathan has relished in career highlights including ranking 3rd on the Order of Merit for his first Professional Tour, The Great Lakes Tour - Canada, becoming the World Left-handed Golf Champion, winning Major Pennants, winning the NSW Sandgreens Championships and being Club and Junior Club Champion on numerous occasions. Nathan was also an active member of The Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation for 5 years where he won the Jack Newton Invitational, Springwood Junior Classic and Bathurst Junior Masters just to name a few. Nathan was one of eight members selected for the Jack Newton Junior Development Squad for 3 years running.
In addition to his consistently impressive scores, Nathan has also excelled in the golfing industry. Over the last 5 years, Nathan has been the Manager of a Driving Range, Manager of a Pro Shop and Pro Shop Assistant.
After competing in The Great Lakes Tour, Canada in 2009, Nathan has a strong desire to once again join his fellow elite athletes and get back onto the Tour Circuit. Nathan would like to firstly join the eGolf Professional Tour in North Carolina, USA. The eGolf Professional Tour will be used as a stepping-stone and practice ground to further develop and enhance his game. Nathan will use this opportunity to ascend to higher-level tours including the Asia and OneAsia Tours.
Once further developed and again comfortable with competing amongst the best, Nathan would like his medium-term golfing future to be based in Asia. Nathan would like to compete in both the Asia and OneAsia Qualifying Schools in January 2012. Should he qualify and become a ‘Professional’ in either of these Tours, Nathan will remain in Asia competing to establish himself as a full-time Professional Tour.
