The 2009 Vibe Alive Youth Festivals

Vibe Alive is a two-day festival for young Australians in years 4 - 12 from primary, secondary, government and non-government schools. No matter what heritage!

As part of a team, students are encouraged to compete in a variety of fun and interactive challenges including sport, dance, singing, art, literacy and numeracy competitions.

All participants have the opportunity to meet and interact with inspiring role models and celebrities including Casey Donovan from Australian Idol, Harlem Globetrotter Dwayne Cross and screen star Michael Tuahine plus, they get to learn about healthy living and career options.

Students, their families and the local community are all invited to attend a brilliant community concert on the first evening of the event which features performances from our fantastic role models, entertaining local acts, and judges picks from the team performances during the day. The night ends with a spectacular fireworks show and outdoor disco for all to enjoy.

Vibe Alive is about celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and it¹s also the perfect chance for students to meet some new mates!
